This is an animation graph that shows the year over year change in GDP by metro area. The bubble sizes correlate to the percent change in GDP from the previous year. So when the bubbles are small, it means there was relatively little change in GDP. The bubble color indicates if the change was positive (blue) or negative (red). You can hover the cursor over a metro area to get more detail about the change. Pressing the play button will sequence through all of the data year by year.
